In June we set goals for this summer. Have you been following through? It’s not too late to get back to it!
Part 2 of the Summer Challenge is making a commitment to loving your amazing body. Loving how strong your legs are, how beautiful or eyes are, those amazing calves! Let’s take a stand to not let negative body images ruin our summer or ruin it for those around us. Think of the role model you want to be for your daughters. They are listening and they are affected by the way you talk about yourself. Exude confidence so that you are respected in your profession. Do it for your husband or wife. Be the start of a new trend among you and your friends(this is huge!). Focus on all the wonderful parts of you and take time to compliment others so that they may realize their wonderful traits too!
When a negative thought surfaces, take a deep breathe, and release it. Send it away. You are beautiful, and allowing negative talk to poison your mind is so unhealthy. So remember the things you love about yourself, and make it a goal to not beat yourself up. We cannot all look like Jessica Biel, or Madonna.
Enjoy summer! Enjoy light airy dresses! Enjoy swimming and stop worrying about your looks! Enjoy being out in nature and take the time to see how we are all a beautiful part of this world! Small, medium, large, wide, narrow, curvy, …..We have all different shapes and colors and we are all beautiful!
