I’ve been lucky enough to have Sarah train me for over a year now, and I can say that contacting her was one of the best decisions I have EVER made! When I first met with Sarah, I had just come back from my annual physical, where I learned that my then weight had me bordering on the ‘obese’ portion of the Body Mass Index chart. I was terrified, and knew that I would be in serious trouble health wise if I didn’t do something to change things soon.
I’ve struggled with weight all of my life, and have worked with trainers in the past, but never found the motivation to actually pursue a healthier lifestyle. From the first meeting with Sarah, I knew things would be different. Her enthusiasm, patience and kindness made me feel comfortable, and she took the time to sit down with me and discuss goals that were both challenging and realistic.
She motivates you with a positive attitude and praise-a great coach! She sets routines that evolve with your fitness level, and they are NEVER boring. Sarah loves to keep things fresh and new, and will routinely check in to ask if you would like to focus on a certain area for strength training. She also gives important guidance and advice on how to improve your eating habits as well, and is really responsive to any questions or concerns you may have.
I thank Sarah for actually helping me start this newfangled exercise called ‘running’, which I’d heard was very good for you (wink wink). In a year I went from barely running 5 minutes on the treadmill to running a half marathon. I am now in love with running, which is something I did not think would be possible.
Now I’m over 80 pounds lighter, and I feel fantastic, not just physically, but in mind and spirit as well. I know that this wouldn’t have happened had Sarah not been there to cheer me on along the way. I am so grateful to her…I really can’t say enough. If you are serious about getting in shape, and you’re willing to dedicate yourself to improving your health, work with Sarah. You will not regret it.

I trained with Sarah when she was out here in California. All I can say is that she is an excellent trainer and also a wonderful person! She always had new exercises for my friend and I. I was really sad when I found out she was going to be moving, because I really enjoyed my training sessions with her. I miss you Sarah and good luck with everything out in Michigan!!

I started working out with Sarah 3 weeks after giving birth. Sarah understands that my body is completely out of shape from being pregnant, and she personalizes workout routines to fit my level.
