I am enjoying every minute of my journey to optimal health and my hope is that this site will be a resource for you in your own journey. I couldn’t even tell you what the destination looks, smells, or taste like; for me it is all about enjoying the journey. Optimal health for me is doing what I can to treat my body like the incredibly amazing thing that it is.
As an inactive smoker, and desk slave I wasn’t even aware of my capacity to feel amazing. Over the past 4 years I have changed my eating habits, my exercise, and my balance of work and family. These changes have resulted in better sleep, more concentration, amazing endurance, strength, and mental clarity. I truly believe that your mind and your body are effected in immeasurable ways by what you do with it on a day to day basis. At the same time I think everyone’s journey will be really different.
I’ll never stop eating ice cream or enjoying an occasional glass of wine. However, in moderation I’ll continue to splurge now and then. It’s all about balance, moderation, determination, and a strong belief that this really does pay off big time!
