Do you find your self standing in the gym performing bicep curls sitting down on the bench? Great if you just want to build muscle in your biceps. However, I bet most of you reading this blog want to get stronger, AND burn some calories AND enjoy that metabolism spike from after a workout. Isolation exercises have there benefits but calorie burn is not one of them.
So what exercise are best for not only building strength but also for burning fat, building endurance, and kicking up your metabolism for the rest of day?
Here are my favorite 5! Do 10-20 of each of these exercises for 2-3 sets and you will be most definitely break a sweat!
- Plank Rows
- Lunge to Press
- Squat Rows
- Burpees with a Push-up
- Squat and Kettle Bell Swing
