The holidays are coming… That means extra calories, less workouts (unless you count mall walking), less sleep, and more stress. So what can we do to help counter some of the negatives of this wonderful time of year. -I really do love the holidays, don’t get me wrong 🙂
A HITT workout is the ultimate solution. Short, intense, and a major metabolism booster. A sprint workout would be awesome but a kettle bell workout hits all the points. A good kettle bell workout is strengthening, cardiovascular, and fun too!
Neghar Fonooni, of Performance Menu says that “While interval based training and metabolic resistance can be achieved any number of ways, kettle bells are
perfectly suited for these purposes. This is due to the
fact that kettle bells can be easily used in complexes,
chains, and circuits.” I totally agree.
He also says that “The swing alone, with its eccentric speed during the hinge and
concentric power during the lockout, is a potent ingredient in any fat loss recipe.” For sure!
So I made a quick video of my 10 minute Kettle Bells Blast: Let me know what you think. I’m still trying to figure all this out, so constructive criticism would be great.

Do 30 seconds of each exercise with 15 seconds rest for an intense metabolism boosting workout. Use one of the time below, or check out the Gym boss (it really makes these workouts fun).
This is the timer that I use on my computer. It’s ok.
This is the interval timer that I use on my phone. It rocks!
and this one below is the one you can clip to your belt!
